First, I have some awesome news! One of my friends, Christina, says she works with someone who has seen black-eyed people. Apparently the woman talks about them all the time. Chrissie is going to ask her supervisor if I can come along some day to do an interview. I'm trying not to get too excited, but it would be awesome :) If I can do an interview, I'll post a transcript as soon as possible.
Anyway, here is the last of the three stories in the article o' dooooom. Again, credit to Jason Offutt. I had nothing to do with the original. Bla. Bla. Bla.
Location: Manchester, UK
Time: 1990's
Stephen Dawson had just moved to his own apartment; it was located in the first floor of an old house. During his first night there, something felt off. There were no sounds outside. The darkness in his apartment was suffocating.
Suddenly his bedroom door opened on its own, but nothing was there. His eyes shifted from the door to another part of the room where a girl stared back at him. A girl with black eyes.
He became sleepy as he stared at her, but somehow he was able to come out of the trance. When he came to, he was alone.
I don't think I need to explain why this one doesn't really fit in. In every other story that a BEP shows up at someone's house, there is always a blurb about the BEP demanding to be let in. They also seem to strike fear into the victim once seen, not beforehand. I would probably consider this to be a ghost if anything (especially with the temperature shift) rather than a black-eyed person.
Black-eyed people
No one knows who or what they are. They seemingly appear out of nowhere and disappear just as quickly. Those who have come into contact with these mysterious people all report similar stories: A person or small group of people, usually young teenagers, approach them and ask for help. Something seems off, but it's difficult to place what... Until you look into their eyes which are completely black. Are they even human? Are they aliens? Demons? I intend to find out.

Murderer
Where: Cumbria, UK
When: June 4, 2010
This is yet another account from Jason Offutt's blog. There are three stories here, and each will receive its own post for organization purposes.
This story is slightly different because the black-eyed person has a name: Derrick Bird. A simple Google search will bring you thousands of results. He went on a killing rampage last year, murdering twelve people before then killing himself.
One person who witnessed part of the killing spree was Jordan Williams, a young boy. Williams watched Bird as he shot another person. His eyes were black.
I have my doubts about this story. Not doubts that it happened--it most certainly did--but the details surrounding Bird do not match those typical of BEP encounters. BEP cases tend to involve people on foot, people asking to enter a property, fear as a weapon, etc. This is by far one of the more reliable cases, but as it doesn't follow typical lore, I will not call this a true case of BEK.
